"Our oceans are dying, leave its inhabitants alone!"
The commercial fishing industry is destroying our oceans. Over half a million tons of ghost fishing nets are abandoned every year, entanglement of dolphins, whales, sea turtles and other life in our seas. Hundreds of thousands of marine animals are killed each year.
These products are part of the Mini Rodini x Sea Shepherd collection.
20% of the price of each item sold from this collection is donated to Sea Shepherd to support their mission to defend, conserve and protect our oceans.
These garments are produced in a factory that is part of Mini Rodini's "living wage" project. Instead of paying workers only the minimum, which is almost impossible to live on, they pay a wage that is high enough to maintain a normal standard of living.
Since Mini Rodini works with products that are mainly used by children, controlling the use of chemicals is of utmost importance to them.
These garments are GOTS certified
- the most rigorous certification for organic materials on the market today - which involves strict controls throughout the entire manufacturing process, including the use of chemicals and working conditions.
